Three-Day Khwai Concession Exploration (4 Days/3 Nights Safari)
Overview
The Khwai Concession (including the community-owned NG19 area and adjacent private reserves) borders the northern edge of Moremi Game Reserve in the eastern Okavango Delta, creating a wildlife corridor with the Khwai River as its lifeline. This community-managed area is renowned for prolific predators—especially leopards (often in trees), lions, African wild dogs, and cheetahs—plus large elephant and buffalo herds, giraffes, red lechwe, and exceptional birdlife. As a private concession, it allows exclusive perks like night drives (spotting nocturnal species such as genets, civets, and leopards hunting), guided bush walks, and mokoro excursions (when water levels permit)—activities restricted in national parks.
