Five-Day Safari - Mababe Depression & Khwai Concession
Overview
The Mababe Depression (a vast ancient floodplain and seasonal marsh fed by the Khwai River) and Khwai Concession (northern Okavango Delta edge) form a seamless, wildlife-rich corridor in northern Botswana. Mababe offers expansive grasslands with mega-herds (especially buffalo and zebra in green season), while Khwai delivers riverine predator action (leopards in trees, lions, wild dogs) plus exclusive perks like night drives and bush walks.
