Experience Botswana on safari with Renns Excursions!

Botswana lies at the heart of the Kalahari Desert and is not only regarded as one of the most exclusive and highly rated safari destinations in Africa, but one of the few remaining destinations in Africa that still provides a good sense of adventure while on safari. With its unspoiled environment, abundant wildlife and traditional warm African hospitality, you can look forward to a journey as great as the destinations you visit. Our passion is to share this with our guests.

A mobile safari is all about moving – when you move location, your camp moves with you. It is about seeing and experiencing a harmonious blend of diverse landscapes while observing a variety of wild animals in their natural environment. You will stay in exclusive mobile camps in remote areas, providing you with the perfect wild experience.

A safari day with Renns Excursions begins with travel in a game viewing vehicle, designed for optimal game viewing and photography with one of our professional guides at the wheel. We offer exclusively private safaris, allowing you to explore Botswana’s pristine wildlife areas at your own pace and completely undisturbed. You will enjoy three wholesome meals a day, and wine and beer at sundowner time.

A typical day on safari usually consists of game viewing in scenic surroundings. Besides the everyday activities of a safari, Renns Excursions can arrange a variety of other activities to enhance your overall safari experience. You’ll be accompanied by a safari chef and camp assistant who will cater to your needs, and every day will be a new, exciting chapter in your safari story. On morning game drives, we stop for morning tea and return to camp for brunch by late morning, followed by a well‐deserved siesta. Our guides are flexible and more than happy to stay out in the bush all day if you wish. We will bring packed lunches along and plenty of bottled water and soft drinks. Later in the afternoon, as the animals awake and leave the shadows you will head out into the wilderness, perhaps to a different area or return to a morning sighting. As the sun sets, we return to camp for a shower before sitting down for a delicious dinner under the stars. One of the best experiences of an African safari is the time spent around the campfire during and after dinner. After dinner, it’s time to relax and share the impressions of the day and for learning about what may be in store the following day. On days when we change camps and move to a new location, our support team will break down our old camp and set up your new one as we continue our game drives en-route to the new camp where everything will be ready when we arrive. All camp duties are taken care of by our friendly camp staff, leaving you very little responsibility, and that is to relax and enjoy your safari.
